Startup Weekend: No talk, all action. Work to launch your startup in just 54 hours. Startup Weekend is to help entrepreneurial enthusiasts turn their ideas into reality. A non-profit, grassroots organization based out of Seattle,Washington. It has an alumnus of 45,000 across 660+ cities through out the world. Startup Weekend is a global grassroots movement of active and empowered entrepreneurs who are learning the basics of founding startups and launching successful ventures. It is the largest community of passionate entrepreneurs with over 1,500 past events in 120+ countries around the world so far. Startup Weekend Visakhapatnam, scheduled this February 20th,2015 is the inaugural Startup weekend and inauguration of the UP Global's local Startup Community,in Visakhapatnam, Powered by Google for Entrepreneurs. Member Entrepreneurs who are part of this community get supported by the global, national and local investors and supporters, to grow up in the ecosystem. So this is a platform you can utilize for bringing your dreams to reality. How does it work? We aim to bring together enthusiasts like you to share ideas, form teams, build products, and, most importantly, launch startups. Friday: Attendees pitch their ideas (but not necessary that all the attendees should come with an idea, how ever more the ideas better can be the dynamism of the event) and inspire others to join their teams. Teams are therefore created to work on the best ideas. Saturday and Sunday: This is where you build, build, build. And build some more. As this is a Maker Edition, teams will focus on building a prototype & business model of their idea/product. During this period teams will also focus on customer development, validating their ideas, practicing LEAN Startup methodologies and building a minimum viable product. Sunday: In the evening, teams demo their prototypes and receive valuable feedback from a panel of experts and winning ideas might get funded by some of Why should you register?
